High and Lower Distances

In high-power distance cultures you have to great respect for authority, people think about authority as desirable, beneficial and generally they don't like critisizm, challenges for themselves. In high-power culture titles are more important. Failure for these honorifics is shame. We can include: Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Philippines, The Arab world, Iraq, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Venezuala, Ecuador for this culture.
In low-power distance culture everybody is equal. In this culture people say everything clearly and firmly that you understand obviously. Attitudes toward authority can be direct and right. For example in low power-distance students show their knowledge, command of the subject, participate in discussion with teacher. There is less problem if you don't use respectful title. And we can include: Austria, Israel, Denmark, New Zealend, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, and Costa-Rica.
