Listening process

Listening steps consists 5 steps.
Step1: receiving, hearing
In this step, you will focus on speaker verbal& non-verbal.
You no need to think about response.

Step 2: understanding
In this step, you need to relate new information to what you already know.
You also need to ask some question to confirm your understanding.

Step 3: remembering
In this step, you are require to takes down the main point .
You also need to look at the non-verbal language of the speaker.

Step4: evaluating
This step need to be done until you are fully understand the speaker view.
You are not encourage to evaluate when you are emotional.

Step 5: responding
This is the important step in listening process.
You need to express support by giving verbal and non-verbal language.
You also need to give some feedback to the speaker.
Through this step, you can be a good listener.
Do not give any response when you are in step 1 to 4.
Give your only in step 5.
You can also avoid conflict between you and your friend.
